Mike Twomey Biography

 

 


 

 

Mike Twomey has spent the last 26 years working in the field of utility regulation. He has developed his vast knowledge through employment with the Florida Public Service Commission, the Florida Legislature and the Florida Attorney General's Office.

 

 

 

 

 

Over the last 13 years he has spent the majority of his time passionately and effectively representing consumers' interest before the Florida Public Service Commission, the Florida Legislature and various other legal jurisdictions.

 

 

 

 

 

Mike is widely known as a “consumer” utility expert to reporters, columnists and editorial writers throughout Florida and is frequently sought out for background information and his analysis of pending utility issues.

 

 

 

 

 

Mike graduated from Florida State University with a BS Degree in Business in 1973 and from the Florida State University College of Law with a JD in 1976. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and served his country in the Army reserves from 1970 until retirement from active reserves in 1990 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
